What a day….

I have never felt so excited about politics and a president in my life! I never cared about the speaches or feeling apart of  all the “action” going on. Today I did.

When I think of Michelle I totally feel like I could run into her at the Publix down the street. I just feel like they are so normal, like me (0k I’m not that normal) and I can relate to them. This is one of those days that I will never forget where I was, the details and what it felt like to truly experience history.

side note: I hope they had heaters on the ground b/c Michelle’s legs had to be cold. Girl looked great in that dress though.

Who Cares….next!

I’m just going to say it….. who cares about the Golden Globes? Not me, that’s who! So lets talk about Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters instead.

First, Desperate Ho. is getting so juicy and great. I really do not see Mike and Katherine Mayfair together, not believable…next. Love the Gabbie’s kids. Finally the Lynette’s son came home. That lasted one too many episodes. Love the Bree Hodge character story. Overall 3 out of 4 glasses of wine.

 

Moving on to Brothers and Sister’s…….so dramatic, not believable on most all story lines, annoying but I still watch, annoying most of the time! …..But I still watch every week. I really don’t want to get in to the people, there just, uh, exhausting to watch. nough said.

Meanwhile, I did flip to the GG’s occasionally. I saw my h-o-t pepaw rock star fantasy, hold it, ….Bruce.

Post office nightmare

I avoid the post office as much as I can the whole year. The last thing I wanted to do was go in the post office this time of year. I had to get one flippin stamp and I had to wait for 30 min. I am not even going to start about the girl standing behind me talking on her cell about her friend Ray coming into  town, and their plans for new years eve.

Ok my rant about that mess is over. I have learned that I would rather go spend ten dollars on a book of stamps at the store then go through the pain of the post office for 42 cents.

HO-lidays

Christmas is over thank jebus ,I mean awwww. The only thing I really enjoy about this day is eating chocolate chip cookies(slice and bake is really making cookies no matter what anyone says) and not feeling bad about it…..until 2 days later when the loose jeans are feeling snug. Don’t get me wrong  I like spending time with my family (1.5 days max), and giving clever gifts to ppl. But thank SBJ it’s almost time for new years!!!

ANNIE LENNOX!!!!!

Annie Lennox won the Merit and Humanitarian award. She was great and awkward all at the same time! When she was up there thanking bitches, she had the crazy eyes and she looked very awkward! I could not help but think of her video for ‘No more I love You’s’. If you did not see her on the awards…she had the crazy eyes and face like in the video!

My fav part of the video are the ballerinos! If you watch till 1:50 the dancers sing “The lover speaks about the monsters”. Love it!!! You can now find any of the ballerinos/dancer/back-up singers hanging out at Ansley Mall, sipping on a non fat, hold the wip, soy latte with half a pack of Splenda at the Starbucks or the single gay mens club….LA Fitness.

Okay, I’m the biggest NKOTB whore there is….umm..hmmm…. saying that I think they need to stop. And when I say stop, I mean don’t ever go on stage, dance, do the crotch grab, or sing in public on an awards show EVER! It was like I was embarrased for them, I wanted to put my hands over my eyes but make a crack so I could still see what was going on. And lets address the crotch grab situation…Donnie, Joey, Jordan, Jonathan, Danny.. fellas, most of the people there were under 18, you can not do the grab anymore. When the pubs turn grey you can’t do that anymore..nough said!

Moving on Scott Weiland entroduced Pink, coinsidentaly preforming the song Sober. He was soo cracked out he could barely speak. He slerred every word/ blood shot eyes/ and was not cohesive! T-rain-wreck!

AMA’s …WTF

Who in Jesus name picked the host of the red carpet of the poor mans Grammy’s! The red carpet of the AMA’s was B-A-D! Carrie Ann Inaba and Chris Harrison were the host. Carrie Ann was looked at her cards the whole time and talked over the people she was talking with! Then i’m sure you saw the train wreck that was the closing of the the red carpet/opening of the show….OY!

Pure Luxury

Grandma is finally rolling in pure luxury!!! A nice  fully loaded Buick Park Ave. Haha! Now I know why you can’t see the old people that drive them…because the seats are so dayum comfy that you just sink into it. You know those beds that have the extra pillow top…..well the fabulous seats in the Park Ave has this. I think you are going to have to experience this first hand.. although Im sure many of you have with your own grandparents!!

John on TV?????

Apperently John is going to have his own variety show on CBS. I don’t know I feel about this one. We kind of met before when I was the video hoe star of his video for “No Such Thing“. He seems to be funny in interviews and is very nice to look at. I have a lil feeling that he is very full of himself. John sometimes I just want you to STFU and just sing to me and you can be funny but then I want you to STFU again. Im gonna go ahead and call this…cancelled..2 season….maybe 3…maybe..but then its cancelled! Trust, he will be no Ed Sullivan.
