I absolutely agree with your review.

If you want to see MJ at the top of performance game, I would urge people to watch his Motown 25 performance, his 1992 Bucharest concert footage or his 2001 “Billie Jean” performance at his 30th anniversary celebration in New York.

But, even as spectacular as those performances are, none of them offer what this film does – a true glimpse of the genius and master at work.

I don’t care if we’re talking about 80’s Madonna or 2000’s beefcake Madonna. NEITHER ONE can hold a Like-A-Prayer candle to your Halloween Madonna. Madge can adopt all the kids in all the world but she’ll never be able to rock a plastic faux-mic headset like you did. PEACE!
